A Bit About "Honey Pot"
224 Mountain Laurel Pass, Stanardsville, Virginia 22973
When we were building this cabin, we noticed that there were a few more bees visiting that year than usual. Although they were a little close for comfort, we decided to leave the honeybee hive alone and the bees to their creative process, as they weren’t there to impede ours. And those bees cover a LOT of ground! It's hard work filling their tiny honeybee tummies with the nectar of between 100-1500 flowers a day! And we figured, working as hard as we were, they needed a break. By the time the cabin was finished so were the worker bees.
The honeybee hive exists no longer but the Honey Pot stands strong. And no need to worry… the bees are long gone, memories of them remain deliciously sweet in a cabin we call the Honey Pot.
